Career Path Explorations

Learn about the healthcare system and its related careers with hands on clinical experience supplemented with classroom education.

Program eligibility:

• Must be 16 years or older

• Be a current high school student

• Be available for 1-4 hours per week

• Commit to a 1 year term

• Applications accepted 2 times per year: January to February and July

CPE participants will be assigned to a clinical site every 6-8 weeks. Assignments will include both clinical time as well as classroom (learning) time. The program is designed to engage participants as they learn about healthcare and its related careers. Additional assignments, such as presentations or essays, will be utilized to enhance knowledge and support participant learning.

Program requirements include: health and immunization clearance, orientation, and BLS CPR certification.
