Multidisciplinary Research Council (MRC)
The Multidisciplinary Research Council (MRC) is comprised of nursing and non-nursing membership who have been tasked with overseeing all research activities within the organization. They are charged with reviewing and evaluating all research proposals for scientific merit and feasibility of implementation, whether by ECRMC staff, academic faculty, students, or outside individuals. They also provide oversight on approved research projects, including continual monitoring of the research team and project implementation.
All research conducted within ECRMC, utilizing resources, staff, and/or the population served by ECRMC must have approval by the MRC prior to implementation. The MRC has the authority to approve, request modifications, or deny projects based on the review of the proposal and investigational findings.
New council members update coming soon.
